What should I do right after a storm damages my roof?
Make sure everyone is safe, then call or text 732-584-0700. Move belongings away from leaks, catch dripping water and photograph the damage inside and out. Stay off the roof and away from downed wires.
What are the signs of storm damage?
Missing, lifted or creased shingles, granules piling up in gutters, dented vents and flashing, bent gutters, cracked siding and new ceiling stains are the common ones. Wind damage often starts at roof edges and ridges. Hail damage can be hard to see from the ground, so an inspection after a major storm is worth it even if nothing looks wrong.
How does an insurance claim for storm damage work?
In general, you report the damage to your insurer, an adjuster inspects it, and the insurer decides what your policy covers. Clear photos, dates and a contractor’s inspection of the damage make that process easier. Coverage, deductibles and timelines all depend on your policy.

FAQ
Common questions about storm damage & emergency roofing
Do you really respond 24/7?
Yes. Emergency service is available 24/7. Regular office hours are Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
How fast can you stop a leak after a storm?
Stopping water from getting in comes first. How quickly we can reach you depends on conditions and how many homes were hit, so call or text as soon as you can.
Will my insurance cover storm damage?
Many homeowner policies cover sudden damage from wind, hail or falling trees, but not wear and tear. What is covered, and how much you pay, depends on your policy and deductible. Report the damage to your insurer promptly.
Can you help with my insurance claim?
We can inspect the roof and document the damage with photos, which is useful for your claim. Your insurer and adjuster make the coverage decision.
Do I have to replace the whole roof after a storm?
Not always. Damage limited to one area can often be repaired. If damage is widespread or the roof was already near the end of its life, replacement may make more sense, and we explain both options.
Should I wait for the adjuster before getting repairs?
Protect your home from further damage right away, since most policies expect you to. Take photos before and after any emergency work, and check with your insurer before permanent repairs.
What warranty do you give?
All In Roofing backs its work with a 10-year workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranties on materials, such as GAF’s shingle warranties, are separate and depend on the product and how it is installed. We explain both in writing with your estimate.
